If Disney is considered the happiest place on Earth does that mean that Disney Cruise Lines are the happiest places in the sea? Let’s take a quick look at the line and find out:
Disney Cruise Line, with its home port in Port Canaveral, Florida, first launched in 1998 and they currently have four ships: Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. Itineraries for Disney Cruise lines have included Alaska, Caribbean, Bahamas, California Coast, Europe, Hawaii, Mexico, Panama Canal and Transatlantic with itinerary availability varying throughout the year.
One thing that sets Disney Cruise Line apart from other cruise lines is that 88 percent of the staterooms on the Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream and more than 70 percent of staterooms on the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder have ocean views. Of those, nearly 90 percent and 60 percent, respectively, have private verandahs.
Another thing that makes Disney Cruise Line unique is its dedication to the environment. Disney Cruise Line is committed to minimizing its impact on the environment by utilizing new technologies and ongoing programs to increase fuel efficiency, reduce waste and promote conservation worldwide.
Disney Cruise Line is known for offering world-class entertainment, amazing cuisine and plenty of family friendly activities. In fact, as leaders in family entertainment, Disney is the only cruise line to first-run feature films, including films in 3-D, with movies premiering at sea on the same day that they are released on land. They are also known for providing wonderful ways for the kiddos to separate from mom and dad so that the adults can enjoy some private time while the kids enjoy their own experiences.
